This is my new favorite thing.It's a bookmark that Frau Snicklefritz made for me, her husband, after we discovered that 8-bit video games make perfect cross-stitch patterns.
Being a huge fan of Final Fantasy, and being a huge fan of reading, this bookmark makes me smile every time I return to the current page of the book I'm working on. Of course you already know, from top to bottom, the characters are the Fighter, the Black Mage, the Red Mage, and the Thief.
Just like the Mega Man patches she made, we charted this out from screen prints of the Nintendo game and then Meine Frau worked her stitchery magic to bring it to life for me.
