Happy New Year!!
I finally have some new stuff to post! I've been busy making things for family for Christmas and couldn't really post anything for awhile, but I have returned!
This is another little zip pouch (Spitze!) that I made for one of my sisters-in-law. She's a senior in high school and really likes green. (In fact, one of her school colors is green, how convenient!) I saw this fun green swirly cotton fabric at good ol' Hancock Fabrics. I then debated on whether to go with a yellow or pink liner fabric to accent the little stars (ask the PIC, it took a few minutes to decide), but I really liked the pink. AND THEN I found this pink ribbon with green dashes, so I was glad I went with the pink.
This is the third zip pouch (Spitze!) that I've made, using the fabulous Bend the Rules Sewing, and they keep getting better, mostly because I've been sewing better. As with anything, the more you practice, the better you'll be.

Were you able to get pictures of your other holiday projects, like my iPod case (which fits perfectly) or the blanket (other than the video)? How'd the blanket turn out? And what's your schedule of stitchery now?
And I do have some pictures of the blanket I should post sometime.
As for what my next project will be...I don't know. I have material for a couple things, so we'll see. How is your sewing going?
My sewing is going okay. I'll have to put some pictures up on my blog. I bought some fabric yesterday to make some PJs. We'll see how that goes. I haven't used a pattern before, so who knows what kind of mangled mess I'll end up with.
