I'm still a slacker, but here's some craftiness from Herr Snicklefritz!!

Many hellos to you! I've been a huge crafty SLACKER for a few weeks now. My apologies for the slack-fest. I do have a few reasons for my crafting/blogging absence. Some friends from the homeland came out to visit and then the aslterp came out for a visit. Both visits were super good, but also really busy! Plus, our guests took over the sweatshop, aka sewing room, aka guest room, thus inhibiting the craftiness.

In the meantime, though, the Partner-in-Crime created a "green" throw. He recycled some old t-shirts and made a throw. The back is made from some flannel we bought on sale from Hancock ages ago. There isn't a lining, so it's a sort of light-weight throw. It's still pretty warm, though. And it's a good size for the PIC, as seen in the pictures, it's longer than he is. (The size of our throws has bothered him because they are often too small or short for him. Yes, I married a giant, but that was part of our arrangement: he lifts heavy things and reaches the high-up stuff; I get the things that are down low.) Pretty basic sewing, all straight lines and such. No crazy quilting here. Bonus points for the person who guesses what the blocks have in common!

Alrighty, until next time! (Here's hoping I stop the slacking!)

Tschau!

NOTE: Herr Snicklefritz disapproves of the title of this post. ONE exclamation point is ALWAYS enough! Always.

Exception 1a: On MySpace if you are 12 years old or mocking a 12 year old on MySpace in parody style, it is acceptable to occasionally type multiple exclamation points, interspersed with ones as such!!!111!1!!1!

Yay for you being back!!!!! Are excessive exclamations acceptable if you're clapping while you type them? I think so but then again, I never was brilliant at English and going to college in Alabama didn't help me any in that department!
cq4fun: bonus points to you! The throw is made from the PIC's old band and concert t-shirts. Well, some of them anyway. Thanks for stopping by our little neck of the blogging world.

As for the exclamation point debate: multiple exclamation points are, of course, enhanced with clapping (and maybe some delighted gasps?). I have noted the PIC's disapproval, but it's doubtful that my excessive use of exclamation points has been reformed. Ha ha!!!1!
